Friday March 27
With Matt at Trayas - walked - read talked - slept in the sun - and got burned and tanned - and ate - It is a charming quiet little place - and just the thing for me. at this moment. when I certainly was quite tired from the work of the Pageant
Saturday. 28
Matt and I came to Cannes today and I saw a preliminary rehearsal of my garden pantomime at the Hillis' garden
- Milliken & Lyman took Matt and me back to Trayas in the late afternoon.
Sunday 29 - 
A quiet day at Trayas.
a madame - (Marguerite - a school girl friend of Matts) turned up and spent the day and night
Monday 30
Lyman came for us - and took us into Cannes - Too strong a wind blew up - Mistral - so I called off the Pageant and postponed it until tomorrow.
Left for Paris on "American Train" at 4.50
Tuesday April 1
Arrived in Paris at 3. found Jack better - and affairs all right at office. Johnson & [[?]] both went to England. to-day.
Wednesday April 2.
Pageant was given again I hear - at Cannes - before very large audience
I took dinner with the Carters & Cargins. and went afterwards with them to the Palais de Glace to see a soldier show - "The Pink Stocking"
