Got hold of another good girl [[?]] to-day.  - Battle news wonderful - it is one of the greatest and most important battles of the War - and we are honored by [[?]] to be - next to the French - bearing the great brunt of the fighting - On all sides, in all reports in all the papers the most sincere praise is given our troops.  Hun Beware.!
It is thrilling to know what is being done just those few Kilometres away, over the hills to the north.
Took lunch at Mildred's, and her most distinguished guest was General Bliss. - others there were Gen'l Vanderbildt [at whose home. I all but gave a Pageant in Newport once] - Mr. Dimmock - who is Red Cross Commissioner for Switzerland - Mr. Arnold looking after Prisoners - Fred [[?]] and two others.  There were many interesting bits of conversation heard.  Mildred and Robert are great Artists at this game - one always feels at top notch form in her stimulating company. and the guests she invites you to be numbered with - it is not a common - but very rare gift.
In the evening we had a "get to gether meeting social in character for all who work at 12 Rue D'Agamemnon - and it was a great success - The glass covered court was full of appreciative people - and a good - and not too long program was carried out.
