Dined with John Craig and Mary Young. both are charming people. - I love her. because she said she thought my Lois was the lovliest child she knew.
Sent off a letter to Corinna. .  To-morrow I go up to Chateau Thierry and the American Front - on a most interesting trip.
Friday 9th
Worked at H.Q all the morning and got a cable from Winthrop Ames. saying about 30 Entertainers were coming "over here"
After lunch - started off with the four girls - Jane Mackle- (who was chaufeur) Hope Butler - [[?]] - and "Pat" Scott in a little tin Lizzie - what with an errand here and another one there. and then back to here again - it was after four before we saw the outside of Paris - and our wisest destination for the night was Meux. which village we reached in ample time for supper.  - The four girls were all good sports and we had much fun and laughter at the meal.  
Later visited the cathedral where service was just being finished
