the Russian doctor, Dr. [[blank space]] who informed me that he had found two kids of salamanders in [[Kamtchatkin?]] and one lizard.  Upon producing the specimens I found that he had two [[advets?]] and a number of illy preserved larvae of the [[underlined]] Salamandrella [[irrismkyier?]], and that the lizard was only a dried up specimen of the same species. He promised me one of them.
