Transcription Notes:
Checked species names, kept Vernon's spelling. Anything I'm unsure of is in [[?]].
Physalea has come up on a previous page. Vernon more likely means Physalis (a plant) , unlikely to mean Physalia (a jelly fish) but may possibly mean Physalia a type of butterfly although pesonally I regard that just as unlikely as the jelly fish as I've never seen Vernon mention anything entomology based in all the previous journals I've transcribed. BUT it isn't outside the range of possibilities. Anyway I've transcribed it how it looks. -@siobhanleachman
