This fellow was first seen as we were driving slowly along, surveying the lake. We stopped and quickly got out with nets in hand. This was certainly something we had never collected before. Tantalizingly close it sailed over our heads and circled the car several times. It responded to a pebble tossed in the air, but never came close enough to get caught. Finally it coasted over the trees and out of sight. I went to survey the lake, hoping to see more, but without success. While I was gone, Sally saw it return again, but again it remained uncaught. We waited now, but it did not return. Disgruntled, we turned
