1120.  A pile of Panama hats at Cuenca, Ecuador.  The hats are unfinished being wrapped for shipment.

1134.  Our caravan on the way [[strikethrough]] from Ambato to Banos [[/strikethrough]] ^ [[insertion]] to Loja [[/insertion]], Ecuador.  The sacks contain my cot and mattress, and my collecting outfit, such as plant papers.  The man with the cowboy hat is Mr. McWilliam, my guide and interpreter.
