Letter from Mother - check from Aunt Mary.  Washed  A finished Y.C. story & mailed it in 4 o'clock mail.  Both walked to Huntington

Wea.     TUESDAY 4     Ther.
A did glass & black paper thing - made zinc frame - lovely.  I painted wood pile.  I wrote to Helen B.  Neely's book here, quite charming.

Wea.     WED.JAN. 5, 1927     Ther.
A to Huntington, more zinc for frames & plumber showed him a lot about soldering.  Letters from Bill & Edith.  I walked to Huntington later, got pair black shoes.  A made fine frame for "Sewing Machine."  I got linen to try painting on.  Had one of our talks in eve.  A had letter from Bill.

Wea.     THURSDAY 6     Ther.
I painted all day on red & blue thing, good.  A started glass, snow & straw thing called "The Harbor is Frozen."  We pasted piece of linen on zinc, it looks like a small gourd[[?]].  Counted up & have $955.00 & feel started & as though we can work for a couple of months.
