light snow in morning.  young blizzard by night  To N.Y. on 10.06.  Met Mother, looked for coat at Mc C. to lunch at Keens C.H.  more places for coats getting lovely one for her at Lord & T.  She took 4.27  I 4.29 train snowing hard & 55 mile wind.  My train 3/4 hr late.  No trolley got here; A over at corner as I got there.  He had painted "Sea Guls" and had framed [[illegible overwrite]] flower of mine.  We celebrated my return!  Story from Youths Companion  A wrote to Alfy, Mrs Eddy & had marketed!

Wea.     SUNDAY 16 (S)     Ther.
Very cold 6 above.  Read papers is snowing, dinner & in afternoon Archie drove us to Northport - got small gate legged table - 12.50.  Sawed off legs & it "fits" very well.

I not feeling very well.  A painting on "Sea Guls."  I writing up diary.  Wrote letters to Robert, Dottie, Bill & Edith, & Mary.  Joy Young.

A painting.  I fixed over grey dress.  also washed.
