Wea. THUR. FEB. 24, 1927 Ther. 

Lovely spring day. A talking about plans for shortening mast. I rushed, aired carpets, cleaned windows lamp etc. Taphouse here & all decided to lease mast alone & as is! Over to Abhans to look at painted masts. Sat on wall-so spring like. Lette from A's mother.

 Wea. FRIDAY 25 Ther. 

Check from Youths Companion A to Huntington, deposited check, from Youths Companion A wrote to his Mother. [[insertion]] morning [[/insertion]] Both painting in afternoon. A did pastel - Jazz very fine. Made frame fro it, I helping in late afternoon. I working on purple tree thing.

Wea. SAT. FEB. 26, 1927 Ther.

I to Huntington, lot of errands in morning. Both took naps in afternoon. John in for about an hour.

Wea. SUNDAY 27 Ther.

Read papers, in afternoon took walk across mill dam & looked at Whitney Scudders new Oyster boat. I mounted 5 sheets of linen on zinc. Both wrote to Jim & Irene.
