I headache again, lying down most of day. A worked on boat - lifted bow sprit by rigging cable.

Wea. TUES. MARCH 1 Ther. 

I painted on purple tree. A working in Taphouse's shop most of day. Taphouse in morning. I read Emersons "Spiritual Laws & Circles" in one, quite surprised - pretty good for an ex minister of New England.

Wea. WED. MARCH 2, 1927 Ther. 

A pumped out. I to Huntington. Letter from A's mother. Descended in in afternoon. Everybody's called up wants another number done, Mr. Platt had seen Arthur's painting at Heywood Brouns. Very cold, both stepped out on dock for "airs." Jazz on victrola. A decides on Gershwin-Wlubman-Stravinsky [[underlined]] sad [[/underlined]]. High wind all night.

Wea. THURSDAY 3 Ther. 

One of the biggest "seas" we ever had in here, wind & very cold, also tide up to top of dock & waves dashing over [[?]] of it. Big pile loos had to be watched. A to Huntington in A.M. to bank. [[underlined]] Check [[/underlined]] Turner Pictorial Dr. for $1.50.00 for "soda fountain" draining. Letter from Mother. I made black silk bloomers, to Huntington in P.M. for more black.
