Wea.  THUR. APRIL 21, 1927  Ther.
"Older Tongue" book of Holley's from here in morning mail. A little later Holly & Hank here, they to Chutes, we did few chores here, then to Chinese restaurant with their car for lunch, back and all around, Atkins - boat yards - looked at little green house which Holly longs for, & other one. Had ice cream & cakes, they left late in P.M.  Thunderstorm & poured all night; a pool on carpet from open [[?]]

Wea.  FRIDAY 22  Ther.
A took Captain Allen of fish boat over to see Halycon II - he did not like it - said "Taint Wholesome." Came in - liked this as well though, "frankly likes neither - likes sloop at Abrahams.  Both of us to Jack Woods for rubberoid  cut it & put down on floor.
A finished framing "I.B.A.S to.P."   Hard rain in afternoon & all night, coming through roof like sieve.

Wea.  SAT. APRIL 23, 1927 ^[[(S)]]  Ther.
A to Huntington, I putting things out to dry & bringing them in - Clearing out drawers - closets - everything soaked.  A plugged up cabin top & varnished it.  A arranged to loan Harry Biggs [[din ?]] paintings to N.Y. Sun. Morning, called up Steiglitz.- We did all paintings up.

Wea.  SUNDAY 24  Ther.  [[faint *]]
A off at 8.30. Back on 1.08 - S & O.K. [[double underline]] liked [[/double underline]] paintings - thought them most complete as to posing & all of any brought in. said might give me a show. A brought [[smudged out]] interesting [[/smudged out]] an alive book of Brooklyn exhibit - a gift from Marcel Duchamp.  Fine book of Royal's synonyms from Steiglitz - & Deal. Everything looks more possible for paintings now.
