A to New York on 7.43  I to P.O. & Raulstons.  Mixed white lead & painted 8 frames - first coat.  A back at 6 P.M.  Satisfactory talk with Steinmetz & another story.  Went to McCalls - Burton sick - but assistant liked drawings.  Then to lunch with Steiglitz - saw Epstein, Seligman, Zoler.  Elizabeth been in gallery day before, Peggy just had tonsils out.

Wea.     THURSDAY 12     Ther.
Rain & dark in boat.  A redrawing Pic. R. drawing, I to Raulstons - sand papered the frames.

Wea.  FRI. MAY 13, 1927     Ther.
A drawing - Pic. R.  I to Jack Wards for Japan drier.  Put second coat of paint on frames.  Washed clothes.  A called up Davidson, he said he'd heard 6 of A's paintings were fine.

Wea.     SATURDAY 14     Ther.
I to Huntington - a lot of errands - A finished drawing & mounted it.  I started sand papering & being tired - A finished it.
