Both to N.Y. on 8.11.  I to doctor, A to Scribners.  Deposited 300 in bank.  A sent presents to Raleigh.  I to Show - a surprising thrill - really perfect.  Lila there with A.  Alfy in.  Met La Chaise & Matulka - both most enthusiastic about it.  Stieglitz, A & me, Lila & Alfy to lunch.  Us back on 3.04, awfuly tired but feeling fine about show.  Addressed more announcements of both shows.

A remarkable from letter from A's mother - she is "aware she has a thinking & brilliant son."  That from reading "An Idea."  A wrote to Duncan Phillips.  I sent cards for tea to my show to Lila.

Wea.     FRIDAY 16     Ther.
Rain  Letter mailed to Duncan Phillips  A to N.Y. on 8.11.  I doing chores, made cakes, took walk, worked on D. & p.  A had wonderful time hearing Bleumner talk.  Holly in & had lunch with her.  He back on 4.29.  presents from Hank & Holly swell bag for me, tool set for him.  A brought my things best in show at Opportunity Gal.  Picked out on by O'Keeffe's sister.
