MON. 12 Started painting of pink storm. Irene & Jimmie here for dinner. TUES. 13 Painted. A & I out for row & walk. A got leaves for wood path idea. Letter from Mother. [[underlined]] Both wrote Physioc [[/underlined]] WED. 14 Ironed & cleaned up boat. A. worked on Mr Convers' engine. Tony called. I painted coal shovel, very good. THUR. 15 Beached boat, A caulked leaks. I washed. Physiocs called but didn't see us. Letter from T[[?]]. A called up, all lovely. Back to mooring at 9 FRI. 16 Big wind stormed again. I head ache. SAT. 17 A. to Huntington, I cleaned boat. Both rowing towards eve. McCoys called up, not coming till Sunday. [[end page]] [[start page]] OCTOBER, 1925 SUN. 18 McCoys here in morning, dinner then Blacks out for sail. McCoys left 7.45. Nice day. MON. 19 Did over A's. "Art work samples. A wrote to Bill Finished [[squiggly ink underline]] "Coal shovle." [[/squiggly ink underline]] TUES. 20 I to Huntington, mailed letter to Bill, got gray silk stockings & mailed to Mother. WED. 21 Washed & did chores [[sentence mostly erased]] started [[/sentence mostly erased]] Wrote to mother THUR. 22 Up at 7, at 8 started for Puppys hole. Cold, grey & tonic. Letters from Mother, Mary, Elizabeth. Painted. in P.M. Jimmie to dinner. [[circled]] S [[/circled]] FRI. 23 [[squiggly ink underline]] A working on glass & [[/squiggly ink underline]] plaster thing. I painted on tree. Washed hair SAT. 24 A for scallops, I up late not very well, mended etc. A read me "Gheta".
