DECEMBER, 1925
SUN. 20  Alfy here on 9 o'clock train, dinner and talk.  Tony here at five & us over there to supper.   Danced.  I took Alfy to train & brought us back.
MON. 21  A & I to H. presents for Alfy, Clive, Douglas, ^[[&]] Holly baby.  Mailed Bonnalls things
TUES. 22  Both woke up at 4 A.M.   gassed.  In bed till 12.  Started rag doll.  A finished "Defiance".  Wrote to Chub.
WED. 23  Finished rag doll, sent things to Blacks.  To Huntington.  present for kids & Al's drawing framed.
THUR. 24  A & I to Huntington things for [[?]] me around here,  Curcios sent.  Brought victrola from S. to S.  Al in.
FRI. 25  Christmas Day
Had our presents, dinner, Gertrude & Al in.   Planning how to fire[[?]] our best - 
SAT. 26  Very tired.  More plans for boat.  [[underlined]] Harbor froze [[/underlined]] 2 ins. ice.

SUN. 27  A made friends with tugboat - the Huntington - brought the Captain in & we try to see him in P.M.  56 mile gale there. 7 at 7a.m.
MON. 28  Cap. from tug over with pitcher of coffee, 2 apples, 2 tide calendars - Us to H. got shoes and artics.  A building in bunk.  I stretch canvas.  Tony here.
TUES. 29  A. built tool chest & whole bunk over.  I to Huntington  Present from Joy, note from [[?]].  Cleaned boat.  Fair - 
WED. 30  A carpentering, bracing floor for stove, braced 2 [[?]]  built curved end to bunk.  I to Huntington for asbestous etc.  I painted.
THUR.  31  A putting tin & asbestous in.  I painting ice, scraped it out.  Irene in.  Irene & Jimmie in for eve.  Heard siren, resolved to work less
