THURSDAY - 21 

I painted - small things on Watman's paper  A. made [[underline]] wine [[/underline]] minus grape juice.  In P.M went to Station for New Republic but no Frank article on A.

[[underline]] FRIDAY - 22 [[/underlined]] An unusual day.
Big snow. & wind storm.  A to N.Y. on 7.21 took Collier drawing.  Letter from Elizabeth - I did chores, mail etc Al in for over an hour. Painted.  A back at 5. - [[double underline]] great news! [[/ double underline]]  Show going wonderfully, Stieglitz had had most exciting day of gallery Thurs.  Man from Cochran Art Gallery wants som, 2 paintings to go to Tri-National show. People pricing them & 2 sold. Fine article by Waldo Frank in New Republic. Good article in New Yorker.

JANUARY
SATURDAY - 23
A to Huntington & to Tony's. Ring valued at $270. Both tired & resting in P.M. No article in Eve Sun - A called up Davidsons in evening. Elizabeth wants us to meet her next Friday.

SUNDAY - 24 
A wrote long letter - stating case to Paul. Both covered it.  John in with bottle of wine. 
No criticism of show in papers.  A rebuilding sink.  In P.M. I wrote to Dottie & sent her N. Republic, to Mary - sent her N.R. & both wrote to Alfy.
