Letter from Dottie - Coming up Thursday  A to N.Y. on 8.09.  I cleaning boat thoroughly.  A back at 5 with great news.  Show creating much interest.  Raleigh bought 3, "Sails at night," "Penetration," "Sacreligion."  Duncan Philips telegraphed for another, has 2 now.  A happy in people liking new things.  Letter from Florence.  Started large crock raisin wine

FEBRUARY
THURSDAY - 4
Blizzard!  Ten inches snow - wind.  Found bed boards wet - put springs on.  Boat full water up to floor boards, bailed out.  A shoveling at intervals all day.  I over to get taxi for D.  thought I had one.  D's train 1.30 late.  no taxi - got here 8.15 P.M.  [[remaining entry scratched out with heavy pencil marking]]

FRIDAY - 5
Up to find clear bright day.  breakfast, & Al in at 10.30.  Strand called up telling A. Mr Rapp is editor of Bernarr[[?]] McFadden magazines.  Dottie left at 12.15.  Called Mother up.  tired & lying down in afternoon - Neely called asking if she could bring paintings down - very thoughtful.
