FEBRUARY
THURSDAY - 18
rain.  A caulked seams with soap, I to store, fixed grey dress, & lay down in P.M. quite tired.  A planning & making drawings for shortening masts & reducing sail area.

FRIDAY - 19
rain & hail  snow at 6 P.M. - Postcard from George Wright.  A to Billy Atkins with drawings of mast sails shortened & raised.  Had a fine time - paid B.A. 5.00 which he didn't want to take.  A to Huntington sent check to Bill.  I painted "Ice" & tried glass. "The World" telephoned -  they want to do an article on A for Sunday magazine. Had "interview ^[[here]] A writing answers to possible questions.  Pumped out.

FEBRUARY
SATURDAY - 20
Northwester in night - cold - I painted "ice."  A finished Life drawing & mailed it.  Tel. Life - Wrote to Paul Rosenfeld.  Cleaned ice chest.  I walked to Huntington - marketed.  Came back & we talked of coming interview & read N. Yorker.  Tony here - gal.

SUNDAY - 21
John the "caulker" here 9.30.  In & talked awhile.  He & A working on bottom of boat till tide came in - 3.30.  Captain Darling here for visit.  A working on his "interview  later, & both to bed early.
