SATURDAY-27
A to Huntington early, marketed. I cleaned boat, telephoned Chub.
Mr. Cushing & Taphouse in - Arthur & I out for sail in new dink. "Into" boat, washed & dressed, stopped for Jimmie & Irene & all to Maine's tea room for dinner & to the Vaudeville & movies. "V" surprisingly amusing.   Jimmie ^[[took &]] brought us back.

SUNDAY-28
Cold & windy.  Mr & Mrs. Atkins here with cover for "Fore An' Aft"- extremely swell. Chub, Douglas & Caroline Irene - the new trial child here to dinner.  Much discussion & arrangement about D's boat.  He & A to Chutes & lumberyard.  We read papers & loafed rest of P.M.

MONDAY-29
Clear.  Charley Scudder & Jimmie here work on engine.  I to Huntington too - ^[[Jim?]] ride up & Mr. Atkin drove me back.  Sewed in P.M. - on bath towels & socks, Irene in most of P.M.  All worked on engine till 5. P.M.
