TUESDAY-30
Lovely spring day again.  Charley S. & Jimmie here early.  Jimmie sick.  Enigine all put together & running beautifully at 3.P.M.  A paid C.S. $40.00.  Best work ever done on engine.  I fixed over two blouses.

WEDNESDAY-31
Rain & very cold.  A working on Elk's story.  I sewed, & ripped up blue chinese dress.  Wrote to Mother.

APRIL
THURSDAY-1
Cold & windy.  A put color on "Fore An' Aft" covers & both with them to Atkins.  A wrote to Epstein, sent check & note to Bill, check subscribing to "Fore An' Aft."  I mailed them in Huntington, & marketed - We pumped out with engine  Letter from Mother with $2.00 Easter check.  Tony here  1 gal.  Letter from A's mother - wrote "statement etc." 

FRIDAY-2
Washed.  A wrote to his family.  I wrote to Lucian postponing visit.
