WEDNESDAY-7
Cold & rain.  Both up late - I "later."  read papers, Fine column by Heywood Brown on Chapman.  I clipped out things, got dinner & to Huntington.  Got pinched[[?]] number of Am. Mercury, pencils pad etc.  Tried to get charts of Chesapeake Bay, talking of going there now.  An abrupt letter from Douglas!

THURSDAY-8
A working on drawing for "Fore An Aft  I painted on "Trees & Lights."  Letter from A's mother with draft enclosed.  I took drawing of doorway of "Fore & Aft" to Mr Atkins in Huntington

FRIDAY-9
I painted on "Trees & Lights," much better & nearly finished.  Not feeling very well, lay down in P.M.  A to Huntington, finished 2 other drawings for "Fore An' Aft"  Marion here working on stern all day.

SATURDAY-10
Letter from J. Hilder wanting Fight picture done over - damn it.  I to Huntington to market in A.M.  A working on bottom of boat.  Marion working on stern all day.
