SUNDAY-9
Both tired.  A built boards under sink, I painted box & fixed lamp & cleaned up.

MONDAY-10
Postal from Mother.  Ran boat to barge dock to get collar on mast.  Nice man - decided to climb mast.  3.00 for job.  Found I had slight temp. 99.  The "Lets Go" in - saluted each other.  A. to "call" on Capt. Clark, C.C. here all evening.

TUESDAY-11
A up early, took Capt. C. to meet Billy Atkin, he subscribed to "Fore An' Aft."  Then they went to Chute's boat yard.  A sold storm sail to C.C. for $10.00  I read "Lord Jim" most of day, finished it. 
Letter from Douglas in eve.  Both our colds annoying.  To bed early.

WEDNESDAY-12
Both colds still annoying.  I cleaned boat.  A writing article for "Fore An' Aft."  I wrote to Davidsons.
