MONDAY-17
Clear & warmer.  Letters from Elizabeth, Mrs Dove & Mother.  I did quite big wash.  Arthur wrote long letter to Steiglitz.  Washed hair, ironed.  Man here scraping mast.  Still have coal fire in ship mate.

TUESDAY-18
Did chores in morning then A & I walked to Huntington, had lunch at Karolines Kitchen.  Bought copper, brass & zinc to paint on.

WEDNESDAY-19
Still cold  Cleaned boat, & Raleigh here in morning & to lunch, left in afternoon.  I rowed down below dock late in P.M.  
Check for $250 from Elks.  A deposited it, going up with Raleigh.  A sent Douglas' dink down by Charlie Lighthouse.

THURSDAY-20
I very tired.  Nothing much done by me. [[remainder of entry erased]]
