     Thursday-10
A got Johnson engine going-put brake on black boat & it works fine.
I wrote to Mother & read "The Silver Stallion."

     Friday-11
A painted toilet & Marion [[drank?]]-
I cut out blue dress & cleaned-
Raleigh to N.Y.  Holly coming here.
Mailed letter to Mother
Holly to dinner & for the night.

     Saturday-12
A up at 5 & fishing & clamming with "Johnson," & strange friend.
Holly & I breakfasted, & Capt. Simmins came for her.  Tried knickers & black shirt, marketed & went for mail in rain.  Both to bed early-very peaceful!

     Sunday-13
Warm.
  [[Chut?]], Douglas & Caroline on docks, didn't come to boat-drove down to theirs.  A & I out in Mona to see them, met Jimmie & Irene & all up to Lloyds Creek, had dinner on their boat, picked up mooring, went aground & got off by aid of Geo Palmer & in to harbor and dropped mooring.  To bed at 11, I [[?]] staying here.
