AUGUST MONDAY-9 Back to Halesite Both to Huntington, got 2 launderies did lots of errands. A got some green saw dust. Back put things away & read & loafed. Letter from Dottie. TUESDAY-10 Started for lower mooring at 8.A.M. A got sand worms, then fishing. We got 3 Lafayettes, Jimmie 2 King Fish, they to our boat to dinner. A & I for swim in P.M. then I washed hair. [[end page]] [[start page]] AUGUST WEDNESDAY-11 A working, horses motif - pastels. I rowed up to cove & made some sketches. Both had swim. A took all grease out of clutch & put oil in. After lunch back to Halesite - engine running very well. Much rain & thunder shower. I - headache & to bed right after supper. THURSDAY-12 Battery charged, tested 1225 - Pete here for the day, A started pastels, made a set in morning. I sewed. Tony here in P.M. 1 gal.
