AUGUST SATURDAY-21 (S) Up 7.30. Cold & windy, back to Halesite. A got hose & fixed pipe, I cleaned out drawers etc. Irene in. A mailed "Pearls" reply to family. Wrote to McCoys. SUNDAY-22 Rain. Read papers & this & that. Cleared out a lot of stuff & took it to his vault. [[end page]] [[start page]] AUGUST MONDAY-23 Rain. A sent check to Bill (check ^[[no]] 149, Corn Ex.) took clothes to Huntington, made sketches for Life drawing. Sent 25 & interest on [[underlined]] note to bank [[/underlined]] I not doing much. I posed. TUESDAY-24 Rain A worked on drawing. I painted, no good. A fixed riding lights - into electric.
