De Wald bought "Just Painting."  I to Huntington in P.M. went with Ruth Roselle to have her hair cut.  In evening A & I to see Charles Chaplin in "The Floorwalker" but not good.  Mrs. George in in afternoon

Still very cold.  A had to remake fire in range & clean house.  I lay down in afternoon.
I read aloud "Please Excuse Vilma."  A making notes.

Wea. Thur. Jan. 5, 1928 Ther.
Posing most of day & A finally got one drawing in for Negro jokes.  A hard time this - getting back to illustration.
A called up Stieglitz.  O'Keeffe improving.  [[Rytheons?]] Rag sold.
I called up Chub & asked her for my eiderdown.


Wea. Friday 6 Ther.
A drawing. I returned pie plate to Johnny Georges. "Now that you've found the way, come again."
Then to Huntington took shoes to be soled, laundry & ordered meat for Sat.
