Heard Duncan Phillips had been there Sat - also Mrs. P. "they had a lovely time" & took one of Huntington Harbor ones. Hank in Friday & took 1st. Rhapsody in Blue. A came in from tel. saying "The Goose Hangs High." Warm Wea. rain - SUNDAY 8 Ther. Cleaning & cooking in morning, looking at papers. In P.M. A and I out on dock and for bus ride to station and back. Naps later. [[end page]] [[start page]] Letters from Kathleen & A's mother to me. Wea. MON. JAN. 9, 1928 Ther. I to N.Y. on 8.11. To Dr. Becks - Am much better & have gained 3 1/2 lbs. 117 1/2. Then to O'Keeffe's show - very beautiful, heard about Mr. Phillip's visit. Fog Museum had been there Sunday & bought 2 Morins. From there to lunch, sent white "silk leaves" to O'Keeffe. To Opportunity Gallery to see my things - looked better to me. Back on 3.00. A on walk to meet me. He had done errands in Huntington, telephoned Elizabeth & worked out next way of drawing. Wea. TUESDAY 10 Ther. A to Huntington, deposited check of 375 that Steigltz sent from De Wald. I cleaning up house. Drawings from Peggy & Sue - note from Elizabeth. A drawing, I posing for drawings for Elks Magazine Late in afternoon & eve. I wrote to Aunt May, Robert Potter, Miss Cercio, Edith.
