Nice letters from Duncan Phillips and Dottie Rankin, she not coming till spring. A called Stieglitz - [[up?]] & read their letter.
I posing, A drawing on Pic. Review story rest of day. Both out for short walk.

I posing A marking on Pic. R. story. In P.M. I to Huntington, marketing & got jersey cloth-dress for 3.98. A letter from A's mother.

Wea. WED. JAN 25, 1928 Ther.
[[underlined]] Gales. [[/underlined]] While drawing & posing were being done a Clatter crash & hurrying to kitchen door we saw two big sheets of corregated roofing in the yard. A told Herb & in a moment a small crowd was with-out. I called out a sign had better be put up, but Herb said they'd stand reading sign & would be killed.

Men here to put roof back, Dorothy called up she'd be here in 2 hours at about 1.30, arrived around 6 having lost her way.
