A to Geneva on 8.50, I to Davidsons on 9 o'clock bus. Everything fine there, Children lovely. [[end page]] [[start page]] Wea. FRI. FEB. 10, 1928 Ther. I up late about 8.45. Elizabeth drove all in to N.Y. I got 3.04 train back to Halesite. Made fires, got water & coal, read Ernest Hemingway's "The Sun Also Rises". Wea. SATURDAY 11 Ther. A here at 7.30 A.M. He whistled and woke me up. Glad & surprised to see him. His trip a great [[strain?]] He to Huntington.
