Ther. 8 Wea. MON. FEB. 20, 1928 Ther. I up late cold worse. Got 1/2 ton of coal, coal truck slick in yard, got off. A painting - [[thing?]] of snow hill side - very big. In afternoon I started "Valentine" Late in P.M. both to Huntington got little presents for Holly, back & fixed a package for her & mailed it, put in a "Nick Carter" tied with white satin ribbon. Wea. TUESDAY 21 Ther. Thermometer 12- Both doing lots of Chores - made copper frame in morning. In afternoon both for walk up winding hill & down schoolhouse road. I wrote to Holly. A wrote to Bill & to Huntington- [[end page]] [[start page]] Wea. WED. FEB. 22, 1928 Ther. A painting on Snow Hill painting. I cleaned up house, & to Huntington. Wea. THURSDAY 23 Ther. I lying down most of day, temp 100 & headache. At night very sick again - stomach. Finally got fixed up - a big relief.
