Both painting. In P.M. out for walk up woods road. A to Huntington.

Wea. WEDNESDAY 29 Ther.
Holly called up. Check for $225 from Elks, for colored jokes - by [[Harper?]]. A painted in working on big abstraction. Lunch early & the [[?]] drove him to Northport to look at "The Sea Gull". It was sold in Dec. Both disappointed as hell.
I painted all afternoon on Valentine. A talking color to me. Both for walk on dock.

Wea. THUR. MARCH 1, 1928 Ther.
Snow in early A.M. I to N.Y. on 8.11 to doctors. Lunch at Macys & back on 12.57. stopped in village & got prescription filled - started it.
A had made copper frame.

Wea. FRIDAY 2 Ther.
I painted all day on 3 different ones. A to station for grate for stove, to Huntington again, & in eve. both up there for chop suey, & [[?]].
A picked out a "Conway" from 2 telephone pages, called up (the owner of Sea Gull) & wants to sell her - 1300, we most excited. A wrote to him.
