A to N.Y. on 8.11. Took paintings "Snow on Hillside" & "Fiction". I cleaned house, had bad indigestion, finally took sedative & went to sleep. A back at 5.30. [[Anyone?]] liked paintings, Steiglitz said "stunning, stunning". A saw [[?]], had lunch with him & S. also. Blumshire, O'Keeffe & Jo Davidson. Went to Life & got joke from Casey - there as usual. A brought me black cigarettes, Bookman dates.

11 A.M. Dr. Willis - A took apt. I up late. I slept in afternoon.

11 A.M. Dr. Willis. I to Dr. W. marketed. In P.M. I posed & A drew in all figures in Life drawing. I called up Kathleen Eddy to change day to next week. but she said if spring like they'd drive over any way. I getting another bad cold. A wrote to his mother.

A to Huntington - laundry - marketing. I - very bad cold. Just neating up house. Got coal, water, etc. & decided not to do it for a while.
