Wea. SUN. MARCH 11, 1928 Ther. A called up Eddy's - not coming. Looked over papers & such. Both up to florists and bought a snake plant. Met Taploosa on bus & he came in for a while. Wea. MONDAY 12 Ther. A called up Steinmetz - he said he'd forgotten check but would put it right through. I sleeping most of day, to Huntington in P.M. A down making drawings from navy hull boat at Barnes. A finished Life drawing. [[end page]] [[start page]] Mailed Life drawing. Wea. TUES. MARCH 13, 1928 Ther. A up early, did up Life drawing & handed it to Herb as he came by - to go off in morning mail. A painted row boat - I painted for 2 hrs. in A.M. 10.30-12.30 on "Valentine". After dinner both for walk across mill dam. I writing up diary, & A out on dock. I wrote to & sent Holly's poems) Dottie & Dorothy. A wrote to [[?]] & Ma & Robert. Wea. WEDNESDAY 14 Ther. A painting on "Sea Gull Motif". I doing chores & had drawn in thing of artificial morning glories, when early in P.M. Hank & Holly came - stayed till 5.30. Holly very shaky & depressed. We gave her papers from old Scudder house which pleased her very much. Mr. Bloxom in with doz. eggs - "laid today" - gave Holly 6.
