Wea. WED. MAY 2, 1928 Ther.
A & Jim finished painting with white & all but floor covering. I to Huntington, got paint, marketed, laundry, back & out to boat taking sandwiches. To yacht in P.M. straightened it out some. Pressed black dress, washed hair. Listening to birds at supper. A said one sweet [[insertion]] in the morning [[/insertion]] robin said "It's time to get up and [[underline]] paint [[/underline]] Reds." or "if God had only thought of him [[underline]] self [[/underline]] First."

Wea. THURSDAY 3 Ther.
A & Jim down the harbor at 5.30 picked up our mooring there. A called up Hank.
