In evening down to lower mooring but couldn't find buoy so back to Halesite. I to Huntington late in P.M. marketing after going to Club house to see A's paintings, moon thing beautiful now. Wea. SUNDAY 27 Ther. Down to mooring near Doc. Wills. Jim & Irene also. Jim moved the Judges, & A & Jim moved ours tied two boats together & put it over on shore by Puppy's Hole. Lovely and alone, we like it more than any mooring spot. Into [[their?]] boat to supper. [[end page]] [[start page]] Wea. MON. MAY 28, 1928 Ther. I painted dog wood, no good. A sawed [[strikethrough]] thing [[/strikethrough]] stump on beach. Wea. TUESDAY 29 Ther. A carton of Sanos. A to Huntington. I did wash, blacked stove polished mahogany, both busy all day. Letter from Holly & verse. A wrote to his mother.
