A nice letter from Betty Parsons saying Dr. Starr is very well satisfied with Mother's condition: [[insertion]] Sent letter to Mary saying above. [[/insertion]] A to Huntington. Down to lower mooring. Sat out & sinned stomach in P.M.

Wea. THURSDAY 28 Ther.
Cured things & cleaned up boat. A to Halesite; brought back [[underlined]] grand [[/underlined]] letter from Mary saying she is going to be married June [[underlined]] 30. [[/underlined]] We are delighted with the Mary of this Letter. Letter from Mother. Bill & Skip here in P.M. Jim & Irene & Tony in eve. A & I wrote to Mary, I to Betty Parsons & Mother.

Wea. FRI. JUNE 29, 1928 Ther.
Big wind.
A wrote swell letter to Davidsons. I painted "Beach Mosaic" but not as good as oyster shell. [[Loving?]] I wrote long letter to Mrs. Dove, & short ones to Mother & Holly.
Went to bed at 11, very tired.

Wea. SATURDAY 30 Ther.
A had hard time starting out board. He to Halesite taking letters to Mail to; "Mr. & Mrs. [[Rehm?]]", Davidsons, Mother, & Holly, Mrs. Dove, Petty P. via Chub. I scrubbed out ice chest, blacked stove & thoroughly cleaned boat. Both swimming.
