Had swim, did chores in morning. Up to Halesite in Mona in P.M. A got gas etc. I to Huntington marketing for company.
A pouring rain in eve.
I wrote note to Mother & sent 2 "horned toad" piece.
Letter from Stieglity.

Wea. FRIDAY 6 Ther.
Still pouring, telegram from Dorothy M. saying they would not be here. Dark & boat wet & damp. I sewed. A did chores.
A called up Casey who said to send joke.

Wea. SAT. JULY 7, 1928 Ther.
Clear. I put sheets & everything in linen closet out. A to yacht club for scraps, got Life joke.
I to Huntington got material for dress, & to fix other dress, & spray for Dottie's shower. Loaded up & back to Puppy's hole.
Sinclair man asked A if he knew of place on water for 35,000 will divide commission J. & I, here, Pop Brown, & Van Wyke.

Wea. SUNDAY 8 Ther.
Very hot. Both in swimming twice. I made black pillow cover & fixed over tan voile dress. A started Life drawing.
A wrote swell thing called "Abstraction".
Van Wyck here & is "broker", for place on shore, is to see about it at once.
