SUNDAY 22 Ther. A & I had good talk in morning. Read article on El Greco, never knew he was a Greek before. I ashore in P.M. & saw Blacks there. A working on drawing for N. Yorker joke. TUESDAY 24 Ther. Up early, A to N.Y. I rowed him over & came back after. ate egg, cleaned ice chest, boat, wrote to mother, & returned Mary's letters & story. Got ice, milk, & bread. Wrote on take of Morris biography. A back on 4.19. Hoffmiller promised him a story, He saw N. Yorker Art ed.
