Wea. SUN. JULY 29, 1928 Ther.
A marvelous day, Arthur, said the loveliest he'd ever seen.  Both in swimming at 7.30 A.M.  Then A did over drawing for the N. Yorker "(Is it very deep here dear, I've lost my wedding ring")  Had dinner in Cock pit.  Out in Lloyds Pt. for first time this year.  Back to Halesite in P.M.

Wea. MONDAY 30 Ther.
I posed & A drew on Life drawing one of women on scales.
In P.M. I sent mother 4 post cards.
Letters from Mary and Dorothy McClure.
A mailed drawing to N. Yorker in P.M. Mail.
I wrote to Dorothy McClure.

Wea. JULY 31, 1928 Ther.
Both up early.  A worked on Life drawing, finished it at noon & matted it in P.M.  I cleaned brushes & shelves, fixed over dress, cleaned toilet in P.M. and to Huntington, got things for lunch tomorrow. [[scribble]]
A wrote to his Mother & Paul, thanking for birthday present.
I got letter from Mother.

Wea. WED. AUG. 1 Ther.
Telegram from Dorothy McClure saying not coming. [[Gave?]] some of the food to Irene.  Made red neck tie for Arthur's birthday.  Fixed & pressed printed crepe dress.
