Wea. TUES. AUG. 14, 1928 Ther. A to N.Y. took Life drawing. A also to Pic. R. Federal Ad Agency, called up Holder, left sketches of jokes with N. Yorker, telephoned "my" Agency ^[[insert]] Bedlar, Ruper, Smith [[/end insert]], man said he couldn't do anything till after Labor day. Tel. Dower - he said "Come toward fall". To Liberty - man on vacation. Tel. J. Walter Thompson - Miss McLane had left. I washed, cleaned, to H. Got Chub birthday p. A home on 12.57. Blacks here,told of Mother [[?]]. Wea. WEDNESDAY 15 Ther. A to Huntington, did a lot of shopping & marketing. Down the harbor. I did a wash - A made drawing of sun & trees. Blacks stopped, going to Westport Thursday. [[end page]] [[start page]] Wea. THUR.
