Both swimming at 7 A.M. Back to Halesite. Letters from Mother & Alfy. A to Huntington. George Dixon here. Had him to lunch -stocked up & down the harbor. Started supper in cock pit, had George, a young gale & thunder storm came up. Got in, they out to anchor G's boat which dragged. Ironed a dress.

Wea. Friday 31 Ther.

A came up to Halesite with George & marketed for over Sunday.
I washed & cleaned & ironed more things.

Wea. Sat. Sept. 1, 1928 Ther.

Very hot again. Both in swimming several times. I for row. Had George for chicken supper.

Wea. Sunday 2 Ther.

A got poisoned clamming, out early, got 100 clams & and a lot of awful burning itching lumps. Had swims, back to Halesite in P.M. Irene gave us snappers, had Dixon to supper.
Both for walk on Millbanks beach in P.M. before he came up.
