Wea. TUES. SEPT. 11, 1928 Ther.
I packed my bag, and Mother with me to station in Taxi. To Penna - Station, had lunch & shoe shine, sent P.C. to Ma and got 4.19 for it. A on shore looking just beautiful! Had flowers steak & all for supper - tony here few minutes. Unpacked & to bed about 10.

Wea. WEDNESDAY 12 Ther.
Cleaned up boat a bit & both in for a swim. After lunch both took naps, I very sleepy from Change of air.
Both wrote to Mother, & A to Mr. Pratt saying he'd decided to come. I took letters to Huntington, & mailed them. Asked Jim in, for [[?]], Irene being away.

Wea. THUR. SEPT. 13, 1928 Ther.
A marketed at Ralstons & soon Eddy called over saying Man would start in 1/2 hr. to get pictures ready. I got out clothes & A into them like a fire man's drill, to N.C. got paintings - truck came off: I did quite big meal, cooked chicken, called up Chub, had swim, lunch, & rest. Wrote up diary. A back 6.30. Truckman knew William Blake's drawings & poems & had read philosophy  No time to see editors, [[underlined]]A better early up [[?]][[/underlined]].

Wea. FRIDAY 14 Ther.
A worked on painting of log. I fixed Holly skirt, did up laundry etc. [[strikethrough]] I [[/strikethrough]] Both to Huntington, walked part way & Tony took us the rest. Skirt to be done Thursday.
