Wea. SUN. OCT. 21, 1928 Ther. Clear. Mother slept until noon. I called up hospital about Elizabeth Taylor she & baby & husband all "doing fine." A showed people house in afternoon. Talked, looked at papers & to bed. Wea. MONDAY 22 Ther. Bright weather, Mother slept until noon. A dug clams, we had clam waffles for lunch. I cleaned up house & picked up nuts. In afternoon Mother hemmed & I tried blue skirt. Mother took pictures of A. I called up Chub. [[end page]] [[start page]] Wea. TUES. OCT. 23, 1928 Ther. Mother's birthday, took up Chub's present, - (Sam's book) & powder & bloomers from me. A to N.Y. with Mr. P. saw Hilder, left proofs with Hoffmiller & phoned Mr. Smith who said my things were in hands of client. M. & I sat on rocker an hour at morn. A brought M a film holder. Wea. WEDNESDAY 24 Ther. All did this & that. Mother sleeping all mornings.
