A drew, I posed all day, on article for Elks.
A walked to post office.
I wrote little letter to A's mother & sent photograph of house.

Wea. SATURDAY 3 Ther.
Rain. A drew & I posed All day, Ma did chores. A walked to P.O. I started to meet him but turned back. Mother finished fixing my old brown coat, binding seams.

Wea. SUN. NOV. 4, 1928 Ther.
Rainy & dark. A drew, I posed some. A called up Hilder, left word-drawings newly [[?]]. I cleaned house in morning.

Wea. MONDAY 5 Ther.
Lovely mild day. Out all morning from 11 o'clock. Mother and I made "Fudge Cake," very good. Arthur finished & matted illustrations for "An Interview with a Gangster" for "The Elks."
