Wea. TUES. NOV. 6, 1928 Ther.
Election Day.
Mother off to Hartford to vote in morning. Jack & Mrs. Hilder here in afternoon, Jack liked & took drawings along.
We went to bed early.

Wea. WEDNESDAY 7 Ther.
I slept till 11. A wrote long letter to Hank & Holly.
Hoover was elected.
I cleaned up house.
Mother returned in P.M. bringing presents.
All to bed early.

Wea. THUR. NOV. 8, 1928 Ther.
I shortened coat, Mother hemmed it. Did some other mending. A worked in studio, did drawing of Madonna & Child. In evening A called up Fischers, they came right down with a bottle of scotch; & will bring Sam Cochran's fur coat!
Here till 11.

Wea. FRIDAY 9 Ther.
Up early, & M. & I. to N.Y. I to Dr. Beek, [[underlined]] paid up. [[/underlined]] Met M at Alice. Took MacDougals for a birds lunch. Got M. shoes at Cowards, got "Transition" at Brentans, to Macys & did not get hat, after trying on the Floor Gull. To train, getting rolls & cakes at Shrafts. Home, supper, reading & to bed.
