Saw Marin show. Brought me "The Boy in the Sun" by Paul Rosenfeld, & "Creative Art" with swell article by Marin in it. Also [[scribble]] tinned crepe dentelles. Wea. WEDNESDAY 5 Ther. Story from Steinmetz Pic. R. wants one drawing by Jan. first. both out getting wood. A working on Pheasants. I made sketches out kitchen window. Mr. Frank Pratt & our Mr. P. here. Mr. F. Bean for Christmas prs. Wea. FRIDAY 7 Ther. A plastering more - chimney in studio & six in living room. I cleaning & making Xmas lists, wrote to Elizabeth asking children's sizes. Stockings & jewelry from Ma. A called up Steinmetz. Both to Stanford - marketed for over Sunday. A made sketches for McClure story. I had old Roman hot bath in [[?ly]] hot bathroom. Grand!!
