Arthur out making drawings, I out looking at it. Put Xmas things away. Both houses rocked in night and both leaked, our kitchen floor quite wet in morning. Leo, his son Bob & two other boys here in late afternoon. Helen here in late afternoon. Helen brought paper from Mr. P. Very cold again by evening. Arthur called up Jack Hilder - they're motoring south the 15. [[end page]] [[start page]] 7 Monday JANUARY 7 Still high wind and terribly cold. Both to P.O. and Stanford for paper & paint. In P.M. Arthur started painting of black sun. I painted on boat window one. Letter from Chub. Arthur called up Earnest [[?]] giving him tip on Bush Terminal that was telegraphed to Frank Pratt.
