FEBRUARY 29 Friday. (LEAP YEAR)
I quite tired & feeling not so well, bad head ache all day, lying down except for chores.
Arthur did painting of Pheasants over again.

To P.O. in afternoon, a letter from Arthur's mother to both of us, I must write to her.

Both down to see Mr. P. a bit in evening.

Saturday. MARCH 1
Rain. Snow in evening.
I cleaned house, Arthur collected small turkey.

Both lay down a little while in P.M.
Dressed and started for Norwalk in blinding fluffy snow storm, I acting as electric wind shield cleaner.
Arrived there early, a most friendly house hold. Sam & Neely came.  All very nice.  When we started friend Ford wouldn't back out of drive.  Dorothy came out to rev it & all hands pushed.  [[underlined]] Out - [[/underlined]] At our lane a red band on sky of big lumber yard fire in Stamford.
